Actually, let me correct this a bit by stating that most in fact do nowadays have speed limits, and the speeds per lane up there are only in existence because of common sense. They're not written law, just practical.
Some still don't have a limit, yet most are cut off at 130, 120 or even 100 km/h, depending on how far south you travel. Don't ask me why, but seemingly the more south you go, the slower you'll have to drive. A63 for instance is locked at 130, whereas A8 goes 120ish, with long parts even being down to 100 for reasons I still haven't figured out (may even be economy related - they do stuff like that down here. Hate those "60 limit because of environmental reasons" signs on roads).
Gotta love the A7/A2 though, no limits up north.
